bambooh General Terms and Conditions

Welcome to bambooh Early Years Academies! These Terms and Conditions outline important information regarding your child’s care and our policies.

Registration and Contact:

    • Please keep us updated on any changes to your contact information, including phone numbers.
    • You can access our full Policies and Procedures on our website, in the office, or by requesting a copy.
    • We kindly ask you to report any accidents or injuries your child has experienced since their last session (details in the Child Protection Policy).

Medication:

      • Written consent is required for staff to administer any prescribed medication.
      • Calpol can be administered with prior written consent or in emergencies with verbal consent over the phone.
      • All medication, including Calpol, must be provided by you and labeled with your child’s name.

Collection and Outings:

      • Anyone listed on your child’s birth certificate can collect them unless we have a court injunction on file.
      • Please inform us if someone other than the main carer will be collecting your child. We may need to verify this with the main carer before releasing the child.
      • Signing the Registration Form allows us to take your child on routine outings (park, library etc.). We’ll obtain written consent beforehand for organised trips.

Health and Attendance:

      • We cannot accept children with contagious diseases, diarrhoea, or vomiting within the previous 48 hours (see policies). We follow all government health guidelines.

Fees and Payments:

      • A non-refundable deposit of £50 and the first month’s fee are due when booking your child’s place.
      • This deposit becomes refundable if only funded hours are booked (additional services make it non-refundable).
      • The deposit is also non-refundable if the registered place is not taken.
      • A late payment fee of £25 applies to invoices not received by the due date. A £15 daily fine may follow until payment is received, or your child’s space may be suspended. Recurring overdue fees may result in termination of registration and debt collection action.
      • Nursery fees are reviewed annually in June.
      • Late collection incurs a surcharge: £20 for every 15 minutes up to an hour, then £5 for every 5 minutes thereafter.
    • A four-week notice period applies to all age groups enrolled in our childcare services. This means that upon written notification of termination, fees will be due for the full four weeks following the notice date.
    • If you wish to transition your child to a reduced schedule, a separate four-week notice period will apply. During this notice period, the current full-time fees will remain in effect.

    Hours of Operation and Closures:

        • Open: Monday-Friday and school holidays.
        • Closed: Bank Holidays.
        • Fees are still due during closures due to pandemic outbreaks, government health closures, or weather.
        • Please note that government funding is typically for term time only however strectch funding is available.

        • Our opening hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (*Bicester 07:30am start).
